Asma Bajawa is the Founder and Managing Director of PeopleFirst HR Consultancy which is one of the leading HR consultancies across the GCC. Born and bred in the UK, Asma is a seasoned HR professional, with more than 35 years of experience. A fellow of CIPD,UK and with a MBA from Kingston University(UK), Asma has extensive experience across all aspects of HR and has contributed to several high profile projects for government, semi-government and private sector organisations.


Asma started her career with British Airways where she spent 22 years working in different aspects of the business. In 2005, Asma moved to UAE, where she held several HR directorship roles before setting up her own Consultancy. 
Some of Asma's career accolades include:
- Finalist for Chartered Institute of Personnel Development 2017, People Management Awards for Best HR Consultancy.
- Finalist for Emirates Woman of the Year 2016 Visionaries Category.
- Voted as Top 100 Asian female role models - Gender Equality and Racial Inclusion Council.
